FULL TIME: Rochdale 0 Accrington Stanley 3

TWO sensational strikes from Lee Molyneux and a goal from Rommy Boco moved Accrington Stanley out of the relegation zone as they recorded a fine victory at Rochdale tonight.

The game was goalless with 14 minutes to go when substitute Molyneux strode forward and drove an unstoppable effort into the top corner from 30 yards.

Four minutes later he hammered a free kick into the other corner to double Stanley’s lead.

Boco then made it 3-0 in the 86th minute as he netted from the rebound after James Beattie’s effort, from a Molyneux cross, had been tipped on to the bar.

Do we expect a manager to come in and win every game,seems so with the majority of supporters.Why can't people see the bigger picture - no wonder the country is in a mess,everybody has to have everyting and have it instantly.

Well said stanley G. A crunch game coming up at home to Torquay who are struggling atm. If we can win that and drag them into the scrap at the bottom, it will make things a little more interesting.

Alan7554 talks a load of bullsh*t Leam has been given no money as such,but has managed to strengthen the defence well.you can't build a team overnight,Paul Cook never even left any decent foundations, there has been a strong team spirit building over the last few weeks,and but for a lot of terrible luck and bad officials we would be clear of the dreaded drop.So lets all get behind the manager and squad and get there in full voice on Saturday!!!!

Leam is the man for the job! No change is needed. The way we played at Rochdale showed what a team we are. We deserved to win the game and in the second half we were not just good, we played like a team capable of winning the division. It's just a shame Leam didn't get the job when Cook came in. If this team was together since August we would probably have been at the opposite end of the table!

Thank God for you Stanleyman 1 glad someone is on the same planet as I am.what do you think of calls to bring Coleman and Bell back,I for one walk in the office and throws season tickets back .Leam as you say should have been no1 from the start and not bothered with that pillock Cook!!!

Chubbyman, I would be disappointed to see Coleman and Bell come back. I respect them both immensely for their previous time in charge and bringing Accrington league football, that should never be forgotten. That said, I think it's always bad to move backwards in football. Better to test the unknown than to risk ruining a legend. Stanley is a job for young, hard-working, up-and-coming manager with a strong playing style and big ambition - exactly like Richardson as it happens... That's what Coleman was when he came in too, it seems to work for us!

We can change the manager every week if we wish, But if there is insufficient funds to buy decent players then we will never progress. we need to fill the stadium every home game. If we can't achieve that we are on a bad errand. I am afraid that money is the problem.

Well Mavrick. That is true... Nobody can say we don't need more support.

I bet most posters on here are season ticket holders, so it doesn't really effect us, but I can't help but think that the gate prices are too high at £17. It's not inviting to potential fans really is it? I also know a few people who've *stopped* going because of the price, and that is worrying!

I'm very much one of the fans who have been repeating the now immortal mantra of "better 3000 at £10 than 1000 at £17" for about a million years. Think it's time that we started experimenting with some offers to attract new fans, not just 'kids for a quid'. We need initiatives to get paying adults through the doors. Next year, we should put prices down as low as we are allowed and see if that gets some fans in. Or summat...
