rovers keep inviting pressure sooner or later teams wise up to it, need an attacking threat, hull need players running back to their goal,
rovers have to be looking to score at least 2 goals per game, whatever the other team does

Wasn't the best performance today but Hull are a good side, they're now second, and we're not going to win every game so lets keep this into perspective. Heads up and move on.
Agree with some comments on the mid though, I sigh every time I see Murphy on the teamsheet. For me the mid has been the problem for the last 2 years. Neither got steel and engine power to support the df, or the vision, pace and creativity to provide for the forwards.
Pederson and Rochina are the midfielders that have the most assists, neither played tonight.

Obviously very flat after the Arsenal game so not too despondent, it's a work in progress after all.
Kean is looking a very good prospect, made a couple of exceptional saves and has a good future ahead of him.
Hanley very involved but nobody able to cover themselves in glory.
We defend reasonably well but are unable to break quickly, with Rhodes and Kaz feeding off absolute scraps.
I won't criticise these players as they put in a good shift tonight but weren't good enough, simple as that.
BTW is Bentley carrying an injury? He runs like he has a knee or hip problem or is it my eyes?
We ain't going up folks, let's just beat the Dingles then concentrate on doing better next year.

A properly managed team with players playing in their natural positions could walk this league.
Appleton needs more time and importantly, backing from the owners to take us up. Some of our players simply aren't good enough and there needs to be some more outs and ins in the next twelve months before we can make a serious challenge.

In any case a supporter of a team with a record like Burnley is in no position to criticise anyone.
