Half-time: Brighton 0 Blackburn 1

Scott Dann's headed goal in the 24th minute has given Blackburn Rovers the lead at the break of their Championship game at Brighton tonight.

The centre back escaped his man to head home a Danny Murphy corner as Rovers hit the Seagulls after soaking up early pressure on the south coast.

Keeper Jake Kean made a series of fine saves as the half drew to a close with Brighton pushing hard for the leveller.

Mr French you may be right. Just hang on in there now and finish with a win. Superb result if it finishes with us winning. Come on!!!!!!

Long way to go but this is just the start we needed. An early 2nd to Jordan Rhodes would be just the ticket now!

Normal service resumed, one all & can't see us winning now, though I sincerely hope we do !!!

Annoying to be honest, Rhodes has a shot which hit's their hand, nothing given. Up the other end they get a penalty for a handball.....

goal threat needed by rovers somehow, not enough testing their keeper, fowards are devoid of service at the moment, pedersen or on or not? may need to sacrifice a striker, put on fresh legs now and nick a win, just the one goal in it, not over yet,not enough runners off the ball asking questions of their midfield to give respite to the defenders

A bleeding good away point at a tough ground against a decent team. My how we have come on over these last few weeks. Allez les Bleus!

Good hard earned point, listened on radio Lancashire sounded like we were well under the cosh for most of game. Not creative enough , but we'd have got battered in games like this earlier in season

Great point. I would have taken that, no problem, before the game.

Well done the lads.

yes we do need more balance and when lowe is o he bench i will know he has got it right but we did not ave a big squad to pick from so it was a great result considering they had 25000 fans egging them on

I don't believe the fortune teller anymore ? i was right a draw today.
No Rovers have a every chance in the play off ?
But don't give up Rovers you have a chance in the play off .
Rovers might make it in the PL ?
It was poor performance by Rovers but a lucky to get a draw ?
Conclusion i doubt Rovers will make it this season ?
Don't give up it's still a long way to go,still February sixteen games to be played until Saturday 4th May 2013.

Disappointing that what sounded like a nailed on pen through handball wasn't given then one given to opposition but still, these are the twists and turns we have to expect and a pt away at Brighton is a very good result because it sounded like we were battered at times

good point lads - 300 mile trek on a Tues night to a good footballing side with realistic play-off credentials. Under the previous management regimes we'd have been smashed down there. Just gotta keep on grinding out results and we should be there or there abouts come the end of season......

Disappointed but it could have been worse. Would have been fine if Boro hadn't have won. Just got to keep the run going, no losses since Charlton.
