NEW Barnoldswick management duo Kevin Richardson and Paul Fildes got off to a winning start thanks to three second half goals.

Goals from Mark Threlfall, Danny Boyle and Lewis Jordan secured victory for the new Barlick bosses.

Town took the lead in the 56th minute when a partially cleared corner fell to Boyle whose shot was blocked and Threlfall headed home the loose ball.

As Stockport pushed forward it left gaps in their defence and Town increased their lead in the 68th minute when Boyle’s volley cannoned against the post hit the back of Stockport keeper Pullman and went in.

Ricky Anane and Aaron Baines both went close for Stockport as the visitors looked to get back in the game.

But it was Town who finished the stronger and Jordan completed the scoring with two minutes left, reacted first after Threfall hit the bar.
