Tuesday non-league preview

CHORLEY aim to make it third time lucky tomorrow night as they bid for progress in the Evo-Stik League’s Doodson Sports Cup – and are aiming for a bumper crowd.
The Magpies have slashed prices for the game in a bid to see the crowds through the gates for the showdown with Cammell Laird in a competition Garry Flitcroft is taking increasingly seriously after a few weeks of struggles in the league.
The winners of the tie will travel to face Marine away.
Ramsbottom United hope to return to action in the Evo-Stik League First Division North when they welcome Salford City to the Riverside, while there is a tasty local derby in the North West Counties League Premier Division.
Nigel Coates’ Colne welcome Barnoldswick Town to the XLCR Stadium with the home side looking to move into third spot in the table.
The game also sees the start of a new era for Barlick, as new management team Kevin Richardson and Paul Fildes take charge for the first time since Ben Hall and Stewart Airdrie stepped down.
The clash also sees Fildes make a return to Colne, where he spent a time coaching last season before he returned to the Silentnight Stadium.
