i managed an under 12's side to a league and cup double a couple of years ago...... probably over qualified!

according to the Blackburn Rovers Ladies FC Twitter @brlfc Scott Rogers who is their manager has been asked by to ake over until further notice...

Why does the LET persist in calling Shabby the Global Adviser ? Can't it at least put the title in inverted commas ? or say "so-called " or "self-styled" ?
Remember, there's no rush because each week without a manager saves the wages bill.
Will the new manager be in place by the January window ? Doubt it. Which means that Shabby will be in charge of transfers - perhaps one of the reasons Bergo had to go.
I'm expecting a new "Buy three Portuguese and get two more free" spree. Seriously, the Venkys have to start off-loading some of the high earners, or the end will come even more quickly.
Interesting to hear Shabby admit that he hadn't personally spoken to the man he sacked - he was showing some Malysians round instead- what a poltroon (posh word for coward).
I'm already looking forward to next season's fixture list to see when we play Fleetwood.

Destroying the very fabric of a club steeped in proud tradition and it must hurt each and every fan to the core - its just sick. Shebby Singh acting like its a Computer game version like championship manager - (How on earth is a pundit( 'that term must be used loosely as he was a laughing stock when he did that) is allowed to select players is beyond me??? - Venkys only knowledge is from what very little they have been exposed to on Indian TV so to the Venky's he is the expert!!! They have seen Judan Alis football film so presume he must be a fantastic coach - YOU COULD NOT MAKE IT UP!! A COUPLE OF VERY IMPORTANT FACTS NOW 1/ No manager on earth can get your club out of this spiral under its current structure - e.g. Mark Hughes did well for you before but with a good board, no sheeby singh, football people around him with good experience etc etc, basically it was a well run club (and yes a lot of us clarets were slightly jealous). Mark Hughes would not be able to do diddly squat for you now unless the venkys left. 2/ The only sort of manager you would now get is either one desperate for any job for a pay day i.e. Phil Brown type or some unknown rookie. EITHER WAY both will fail as the structure is not going to change whilst your owners have no hands on running of the club and besides would not have a clue what to do if they did! as their experience is selling chicken in an Indian economy!! WHAT TO DO - Well there is only one course of action for the fans - and I said this last year AN ABSOLUTE AND TOTAL BOYCOTT!!!!! yes it hurts but Blackburn Rovers as you knew it is dead whilst they are there.! It should have been done earlier as now most of the assets~(playing) are gone. The club is heading for oblivion and every penny any fan gives them goes to them - not your club. If this had been done 2 years ago as many suggested the club would have survived - now however the consequences are going to be hard to take - Liquidation aka Rangers would in fact seem harsh but it would give the club the opportunity to rebuild ableit maybe from the 3rd tier.. But you would rebuild ,get rid of all the silly contracts, the Hendry types, the certain Agent.. Rangers will hate what happened to them but mark my words in 5-7 years they will be the strongest club in Scotland. When you do rebuild show you are real fans and gibve your club the support both vocally and financially it will need. Yes Premiership will be hard but being realistic the championship is a realistic target short term. Now going onto a broader picture many clubs are in financial uncertainty and many will be faced with rebuilding in the not to distant future. It will not be the end of the world. The players you have and the contracts they are on is simply not a viable model - And Shebby Singh/Venkys will destroy the club - Good luck all fellow football fans - I do have genuine sympathy - PLAN B - Any very rich Blackburn fans out there???

True claret alright - and enjoy a bit of banter - But this way beyond banter - The fabric of the club - The area itself being affected (I do business in Blackburn and Burnley as well as other areas) - Was on the orient game 1987 but now only go circa 12 games a year (subject to work commitments) - Fact is, your our rivals (some take it too far of course) - Will Celtic take as much pride winning scot premier with no Rangers??? - Don't get me wrong I love you loosing and would have loved you to get relegated fairly(that said its better when we are in the same division!). Cheers for that sensible contribution. All fans opinions are welcome its just that we usually only get those hysterical repetitive type from Burnley fans. You are right and Im sure we all think the same. We get a lot of stick about Jack Walker and thinking we are bigger than we are but the majority of us are actually just football fans like yourself who support our local club and enjoy the game of football. It's 'piece' not 'peace' and FC Burnley, you may not know any yourself, but there are actually Burnley fans who are football fans. I have friends who are Burnley fans and we have some good chats about our teams generally. What you might also not realise although you prove it by coming on here as much as you do, that a lot of your football enjoyment and amusement comes from having local rivals. Going by the build up to our derbies and everything that goes with it, with Rovers out of contention, your football calender would be pretty dull.

Rovers have to get rid of Venkys some how and whatever they say you all know sooner or later without them selling the club, they are going to bankrupt us and bugger off back to India.
Would you buy a used car off any of them? then dont keep giving them your money.

Thank you for your very honest, and sincere post, it needs more Blackburn supporters to have your vision. Realise that the club needs to be completely broken, in order to be rid of these Indian leeches, then and only then, can it be fixed. Then we can make the club healthy again, and rise up from the basket case it has now become. So all you true supporters be prepared for a very bleak future, before the sun ever shines on our club again. If Glen Mullan is to be believed then it's Agnew and Shaw who are the problem at Rovers. It's them who want MacDonald, Shebby wants an experienced manager. It's Agnew & Shaw who are part of Team Kean and who have contacts with a certain agent still. Mullan even says that Shaw met the agent for a nice chat before he flew to India with Agnew. Agnew & Shaw have been summoned to India to explain themselves. As for the article in the Mirror calling for Singh's sacking, Singh has now apparently contacted his lawyer. Also remember Alan Nixon was very complimentary about Kean & Coyle. He even called Kean a 'gem'!!! Now ask yourself who is Kean and Coyle's agent? It might be fair to assume that all the muck-raking and media stories are being leaked to the press by people at Ewood who want Singh gone so that they can get back to how it was when Kean was there and certain agents slept at Brockhall during transfer windows. Singh is full of hot air and likes the attention, but he's got kean to quit and that hasn't gone down well with his friends at ewood and elsewhere.

Anyway, go on Brfcs.com and read the 'new manager' thread on there. it might open some eyes. All the above is on there. It might be rubbish but it's good to have both sides to the story.

The diseased Rovers will never get on the road to recovery until the gangrenous Singh has left the club.
He has no experience ,totally out of his depth ,he was a football pundit in Singapore , and only then as the token local that all the foreign football channels employ, his comments were laughable.
Get Rid of Singh,and then the parasites that live off puss and poison will be shown the door very quickly .
The man that was brought into drive Steve Kean around when Kean got convicted for drink driving and came in under the title "defensive coach" does anyone know any reason why he is still there ?

Everyone I speak to is at a complete loss as to why HENDRY kept his job and we lose all these good men ,anyone know ?

Why have we lost honourable men and good coaches like Eric Back and we retain the services of the defensive coach ,then assistant to the reserve team manager and now back as first team coach again, the whole scenario is just ludicrous.

We need to bring in a very experienced man not as manager but as transitional overseer,someone to sort out the mess Singh and the previous manager )Kean) has put us in ,bring in someone like George Graham/Walter Smith/ Joe Royle someone to oversee a hiring of a new manager and then a completely new capable coaching staff ,the job now is too much for a manager to walk in and sort out .

If you want to compare football c.v."s please let me know,as ill walk all over you with mine and im nowhere near qualified to run a multi million pound football club,you should be ashamed of yourself trying to buy off the action group to keep them quiet,also trying to be "one of the lads"doesnt wash with ANY rovers fans,apart from the idiots from B.R.A.G.,
There are now plans in place to get ewood empty over the course of this miserable season that the poor hard worling rovers fans has had to put up with this nightmare for over two years.
Your manners and the way you conduct yourself in public is othing short of embarressing,if you think laughing to every question on the radio lancs talk in is the way to conduct yourself then you need to learn manners,i dont see any rovers fans finding anything laughable or funny about what is going on at ewood.

Berg had to go on results alone. However it is shame that we aren't in a position to allow ANY manager time to try and turn things round.

Other than stating all the obvious points about how poorly SS is handling his role - it is totally bemusing how the club and Agnew in particular can allow such dross to be banded about by the media. Wake up and smell the coffee Venkys - SS is not up to the task. You need to listen to proper experienced football people (and I suggest you look further than your current stock of so called Diectors).

Appoint an inexperienced MANAGER (yes you need a MANAGER) at your peril.

Rumours of a group of coaches with no manager is absurd. Akin to a ship without a Captain, a Cabinet without a PM or an army without a General.

Success comes to people who are open to change and prepared to embrace it - but it also comes to those who realise the it comes about by doing things in a certain way. I'm all for change - but to create a new system of management which flies in the face of anything else that has ever been proven to work in football - or even appointing some far from appetising coach - is nothing short of ridiculous at this stage in proceedings.

What makes this farce even more galling is that we won't be able to make the most of the Jan. transfer window either.

The whole thing is a bl***y disgrace.

Please let us have our club back - even it it means we must rebuild from the lower leagues. We just want to see the back of you ALL.

U mean emptier than we already seen this season so far? Not sure that tactic will work as a three quarter empty stadium has had no effect. I don't have any alternatives but for one that I and a few others suggested over a year ago - which was to target the Venkys. This could be done through the Indian Press and with protests outside the Indian embassies and consulates in the UK. Jack Straw and others could petition the India government officials etc and fans could display the banners at matches. We should have done that instead of targeting Kean then we may have removed the root cause of all our troubles and not just the boil on the surface. But we still need to be active at the ground and at matches or the protest will whimper and die along with our club.

We will beat Barnsley today no worries.
