I sincerely hope we do not here a Pollyana statement from Berg about how the performances have improved. Performances and talk does not get you points on the board, and we are simply not picking up enough points and unable to get any kind of coherent level of performance together over 90 minutes.
The manager, coaching staff and players all need to answer some serious questions.

Kean got lucky for the first few games because opposition teams were showing us far too much respect due to the high profile names in our squad. We got found out and that would of happened with or without kean. As I recall it, when we were top of the league the performances were still woeful, the players couldn't run for 90mins due to their lack of fitness and kean was a lying, drunken, tactically inept, idiot whose post match comments were as if he was watching a completely different sport entirely. We got found out and it's that simple.

Kean got lucky for the first few games because opposition teams were showing us far too much respect due to the high profile names in our squad. We got found out and that would of happened with or without kean. As I recall it, when we were top of the league the performances were still woeful, the players couldn't run for 90mins due to their lack of fitness and kean was a lying, drunken, tactically inept, idiot whose post match comments were as if he was watching a completely different sport entirely. We got found out and it's that simple.

If you read the original post properly you will see that I did query whether Mark Hughes would come back as manager.

Either way something needs to be done as a matter of urgency as Berg is not the answer.

Berg seems to be a decent and honest man doing his best (his way) to sort out who wants to play for the team and who doesn't want to play and who is prepared to put the effort in to help the team be successful - some of the performances at times in some of the recent games have been improved - but Henning needs the backing of the club during the Jan window to give himself and the Rovers the best chance of success.

A couple of decent players in the right positions who can strengthen the team and the performances and results will improve and the confidence will return (along with lady luck) and then we can consolidate the season and prepare to push on for next season. New Year - New Hopes.

Berg seems to be a decent and honest man doing his best (his way) to sort out who wants to play for the team and who doesn't want to play and who is prepared to put the effort in to help the team be successful - some of the performances at times in some of the recent games have been improved - but Henning needs the backing of the club during the Jan window to give himself and the Rovers the best chance of success.

A couple of decent players in the right positions who can strengthen the team and the performances and results will improve and the confidence will return (along with lady luck) and then we can consolidate the season and prepare to push on for next season. New Year - New Hopes.

Would he come back, I don't know but things cannot be allowed to continue.

Manager wise, if Berg goes, he won't be sacked, he'll resign because if you haven't noticed, he hasn't exactly got what he expected and he isn't happy.

I would say let's get a young manager in and give him some time but Blackburn isn't a club for young managers at the moment. We don't really have time to give out to managers and even if we did, the fans would get too impatient and wouldn't see what we might be able to achieve in the future.

We need results at the moment. I wanted Tugay to be honest. I think he'd of been fantastic.

As I said in the previous article this morning FR, another time, another situation, we could have given Berg time to find his feet. But as almost everyone on here have stated unanimously on here and everywhere else, we needed a manager to hit the ground running and work with what we have - which only an experienced manager could have done.

Alas, we don't have these luxuries and bringing in a part experienced manager has now led to us tumbling even further down the table. Unlike some doom monging honarary dingles, who don't even attend matches to be able to justify their experiences of individual performances, I do not believe we are relegation fodder or will be. What I do believe is unless we want to be doomed to a life in this league, Berg has to go. Thankfully it appears that Venky's are now heading in the same direction.

Put simply, Berg doesn't have the ability to get the best out of these players. He has gone on record to say his management decisions are his own and certainly Singh wasn't guiding him today seeing that he was in the commentary role. If these are his decisions then they are very poor indeed. No Vukevic again, no change in game play until we go a goal down - again!

He might be the nicest most honest decent man alive, he is not the man to get us out of this predicament and therefore he must go. The fact is that he should have never been employed in the first place but he is not going to step down yet under his own volition.

Venky's must act swift, and bring in someone with the ability to get this rabble playing for the shirt to stand any chance of going up the table again.

That said, I was relieved to see the back of him. I dont think other fans/outsiders know enough about what that bloke was up to. I guess theres a lot we all dont know but rovers fans know more than others just because we follow our club in more detail than you would. He was a dangerous man within our club. Hughes is a low budget manager, that's why he did so well for us. Hes brilliant at getting the best out of average players and finding underperforming players and turning them into good players. Bentley, santa cruz, samba, pedersen, andy todd the list goes on. Give him millions to spend and he's useless. Venkys would love him signing players for buttons and selling them for 12m

Berg seems to be a decent and honest man doing his best (his way) to sort out who wants to play for the team and who doesn't want to play and who is prepared to put the effort in to help the team be successful - some of the performances at times in some of the recent games have been improved - but Henning needs the backing of the club during the Jan window to give himself and the Rovers the best chance of success.

A couple of decent players in the right positions who can strengthen the team and the performances and results will improve and the confidence will return (along with lady luck) and then we can consolidate the season and prepare to push on for next season. New Year - New Hopes.

As I said in the previous article this morning FR, another time, another situation, we could have given Berg time to find his feet. But as almost everyone on here have stated unanimously on here and everywhere else, we needed a manager to hit the ground running and work with what we have - which only an experienced manager could have done.

Alas, we don't have these luxuries and bringing in a part experienced manager has now led to us tumbling even further down the table. Unlike some doom monging honarary dingles, who don't even attend matches to be able to justify their experiences of individual performances, I do not believe we are relegation fodder or will be. What I do believe is unless we want to be doomed to a life in this league, Berg has to go. Thankfully it appears that Venky's are now heading in the same direction.

Put simply, Berg doesn't have the ability to get the best out of these players. He has gone on record to say his management decisions are his own and certainly Singh wasn't guiding him today seeing that he was in the commentary role. If these are his decisions then they are very poor indeed. No Vukevic again, no change in game play until we go a goal down - again!

He might be the nicest most honest decent man alive, he is not the man to get us out of this predicament and therefore he must go. The fact is that he should have never been employed in the first place but he is not going to step down yet under his own volition.

Venky's must act swift, and bring in someone with the ability to get this rabble playing for the shirt to stand any chance of going up the table again.

i understand your points BB but honestly do not think that sacking HB would do any good at all. No experienced or successful manager would come to Ewood if we had sacked two mangers in less than three months. If a new manager didn't get immediate success would he get sacked also? Who would come under those crazy conditions? Maybe someone from the lower or non league club if we were lucky. Possibly Joudan Ali or someone of that nature. What once was a good job at a decent club is now a poisoned chalice. Berg has to be given time, with proper support from the club then I still believe he can succeed. He has to succeed - there is no other option.
