FULL TIME: Blackpool 2 Blackburn Rovers 0
5:00pm Saturday 15th December 2012 in Football
By Andy Cryer, Blackburn Rovers reporter
BLACKBURN Rovers' Championship slump continued this afternoon as they crashed to their fourth defeat in their last five games with a 2-0 defeat at Blackpool.
A vocal travelling support directed their anger at absent owners Venky's and global advisor Shebby Singh as Rovers' promotion hopes look increasingly distant.
Goals in each half from Wes Thomas and Kirk Broadfoot were enough for the hosts as Rovers fans chanted 'you're not fit to wear the shirts' at the players.
Rovers, who had surprisingly dropped goalkeeper Paul Robinson for Jake Kean, enjoyed the best of the first half.
Simon Vukcevic struck a low shot against the post, while Josh King and Colin Kazim-Richards also went close for the visitors.
Their lack of a killer instinct was again to cost them as, with almost their first attack of the game, Blackpool took the lead through Wes Thomas on 22.
The striker got in front of the Rovers defence to glance home Nathan Delfouneso's left wing cross.
It was a different story after the break though as Rovers struggled to trouble the hosts at all, with a display full of lack-lustre tackling, poor passing and hesitant defending.
Kean denied Ince from close range after he raced clear on goal and the young keeper was again called into action when he tipped Bob Harris's free kick wide.
Blackpool deservedly doubled their lead on 80 though as defender Kirk Broadfoot rose unchallenged to bullet home a header from a right wing corner.
King was denied late on by Matthew Gilks but a miserable second half display meant Rovers got what they deserved.

Shebby says decisive action will be taken - when? - we are waiting but then of course Shebby you always take your time even if at the end of the day you still come up with the wrong answer So roll up now and get your fabulous half season tickets - wow what an unmissable offer!!
At the rate we are going it will not IFbut WHEN we drop a further league with the present set up - we could easily pass Coventry and Portsmouth the way we are playing
Come on Venkys lets hear what you have to say for yourselves

Let me help you then so that we can get some of these decisive decisions at least before we are well entrenched in the middle of League One?
95% of the squad are useless and unfit, 100% of the training staff are useless, and you are useless.
You really had no right to accept this job because you are utterly without qualification for it.
Blackburn Rovers are doomed. Dead and buried from the moment Venkys took over. It is as plain as a pike staff that Rovers are on a one way street out of existence. Still, Henning, as you are so fond of saying, "Let's not panic." You useless lump!

Only chance is to clear out the back room staff or it's just more of the same. Hopefully Berg can buy a complete new midfield in the transfer window - at least! The midfield against Cardiff, with the 2 passengers out wide is the worst we have seen in the last 20 years.

1 - Organise and improve our defense.
2 - Motivate players.
3 - Pick you're best starting line up.
4 - Make proper and meaningful substitutions (73 mins today and then he took off SV, our best player !!).
It is clear to me (and many others) that HB has failed on those 4 points match after match - if you think after Jan he'll sudenly become a "top manager" then you really are the drowning man, clutching at straws - "his players" may improve things but they won't suddenly turn HB into a top manager - its clear to see, he isnt, nor will he ever be.
A good manager will get the best out of bad players (MM at Ipswich who were bottom when he joined but he has got 16 pts from 9 games and they arnt MM players either, are they).

Couldnt get a ticket but watched on TV and apart from a few moments in the first half we were abysmal - poor old Jordan Rhodes no real support, a defence that let in two sloppy goals through bad marking and I am afraid to say it a Manager who it would appear at the moment not to have a clue - the players never turned up and are certainly not putting in a shift worthy of the vast wages they draw!!!!
And yes the traveling fans at the end of the match had every right to shout 'There's only one Jack Walker and out with Berg' - I hope that Singh Shaw Agnew and the Venkys full understand how the majority of supports feel about them - no trust in them what so ever!!!!!
And yes I am shouting in 'cap lock'
OUT WITH SHAW AGNEW SINGH BLACK HENDRY AND MAY BE BERG

McCarthy was the perfect choice and EXACTLY what we needed but once again, another atrocious decision by the amateurs that have somehow gained control of BRFC. I don't think the teams as bad as some are making out and there's managers out there that'd take this bunch of rudderless, unfit, unmotivated pretenders into a world of passion, desire and focus.
As much as I admire Berg as a playing legend, it's there for all to see he just doesn't cut the mustard.

The Vermin in India, entrusted a Malaysian TV pundit, to search far and wide, to find our next manager. He chose Berg - out of the game for a year or so, after getting sacked from his last job, after a disastrous start to the season - because he gave a 'good interview'. This, despite Berg saying on television, whilst working as a TV pundit, that "no credible manager would take the job". Only an IDIOT would then offer him the job. Step forward Shabby Minge.
I only hope that someone within the club, will realise that Berg is not the man for the job, and get rid with the minimum of fuss, which will allow HB to leave with dignity still in tact, and do what they should have done in the first place; get someone in with experience of this level of football, and quickly. Because a second successive relegation, is not beyond the bounds of possibility.
But having said all that, as long as the IDIOTS in India, and the equally IDIOTIC Shabby Minge have ANYTHING to do with this once proud club, we will continue to lurch from one crisis to another, and head in only one direction; DOWN.
Venky's OUT! Borat OUT! You are a disgrace.

We need to hope and pray Berg walks away with dignity and an experienced manager comes in to do a proper job.
That won't happen of course. Think of the worst possible scenario and Venkys will make it happen.
It's what they do best - f*ck it up good style and without hesitation or realisation.
I would normally sign off with RTID but the way things are going, Rovers will be dead long before me! Bad bad times people.

Berg needs to kick out Hendry/Black he needs to bring in his own coaching staff till the end of the season and then we can judge if Berg is capable of bringing Rovers forward.
Singh maybe should have heard the massive majority of Rovers supporters comments on here and other Rovers forums, when we were screaming at Singh to bring in an experienced manager ,but again arrogance won again and Singh again decided to bring in an inexperienced ex player , what is this thing Singh has about Rovers ex players , we do not give a sh*t about them and they do not give a sh*t about us .
Another thing it is well documented that Hendry is on a contract worth 8,000 pounds a week ,and he now has been demoted from first team defensive coach to 2nd. assistant coach to the reserve team manager , is Hendry unsackable , why ? and what the hell is going on there ? surely we can get an assistant reserve team coach for less than 8,000 pounds a week ,or is it true the story that Hendry will be there at Rovers till a certain Howard Walker gets his 150k Hendry went bankrupt owing him , and Robert Coar is the man that arranged for Hendry to work for Rovers irrespective if he could do the coaching job he got , he was havingto work at Rovers until H.Walker was paid back in full his 150k. direct from Hendry`s wages.

But also, good managers make the best of what they have (see MM at Ipswich as a good example - 16pts from 27) and poor managers don't (see HB at Rovers for a good example - 6 pts from 27 ??).
We don't expect HB to produce miracles but most Rovers fans DO EXPECT him to produce a well balance, well motivated, well organised, COMPETATIVE team - and unfortunately, so far, he has failed to do this.

Lets face it. Just like everyone else employed by Venkys, Berg is not up to the level required. That's the story of Venkys regime.

Hening Berg has to be the worst manager in football yet Rovers appoint him, he must have been a cheap option.
Hening Berg was sacked in Norway winning non out of 11 matches, great CV for taking over at The Rovers eh? Now one win out of 20 has there ever been a worst record in football? so why is he the manager of our once great club. Instead of asking these questions, What do the telegraph write instead, Berg asks for Rovers fans to keep the faith, Berg says we must take the posatives from this etc all very nice isn't it. Lets have a sports reporter with balls, what is taking place at the Rovers is criminal and the Telegraph have the biggest voice so use it. Rovers fans have had it up to here being fed bull, lets get a reporter who asks whats really going on.
Robinson, hopless and past his best 4 years back, great young keeper in Bunn never got a look in and when he did last year two games we drew 0-0 against Liverpool and won at Old Trafford only for Bunn to then be pushed back into the reserves whilst Robbinson continues to ship shed loads of goals, no wonder Bunn wanted out. A back four that plays so square and two far up the pitch with no pace at all apart from Olsen, so easy for teams to play against and what do we do, play the same every week and have done for years, hopless! Midfield way to slow and old Pederson Dunn and Murphey seeing out there days on big money contracts, and a strike force all hyped to be something they are not, and I include Rhodes in that as well. Rhodes is a great finisher but not a great footballer and there is a massive difference. Playing as we do at Rovers he has to be both and he's not, hence he contriburtes very little unless he scores and thats not good enough. When Rhodes comes up against a half decent defender he is out the game and this was never more the case than when we played Middelsbourough and Woodgate never gave him a kick. The rest of the strikers including Best I wouldn't watch them if they were playing in my garden. One Rovers fan wrote on here when we were top of the league that we were awful, didn't know how the hell we were getting away with it and for me that person knows what he is talking about. The Rovers have novices in every part of the whole process, from coaches, managers, advisors and owners of the club and that is why the Rovers are doomed. Berg may have looked a cheap option but he will be possibly the most expensive mistake the Rovers have ever made, him and the usless Kean that is. Things need to change and change now, The Rovers is not jobs for the boys, it is a once very proud and respected club that teams never liked coming to, now its just three points for whoever turns up,. Things need to change and that dosent mean giving the manager with the worst record in world football funds to spend because heclearly does not know what he is doing. K Aspin

King is young man with an poor attitude, send him back (bone idle)
You can go right through the team
What is wrong with professional footballers when they cannot be bothered to play one game a week and give their all?
I give up with football, it is average entertainment at its best these days
And at this level it is depressing!
It is one long horrible nightmare being a Blackburn fan

We need players who will put an honest shift in, but HB will have to unload several players to raise some funds to purchase new ones.
By the time the transfer window comes round in 4 weeks, we will have played about another 6 games and it will be too late to attract players to a bottom 10 side?
We were in a better position under Kean, and he just was a buffoon.

These are business people, they aren't here to lose money, they're here to make it. They don't come and watch games, they love their cricket and hockey more than football (they have actually said that), so why would they invest into a sport that they don't even like?
We won't get our experienced manager. They will keep trying unproven cheaper options till one works. Call it the finding of the new Arsene Wenger, limited resources, lot's of money made and more global interest in the club.
In my opinion we are heading down the table due to a variety of reasons. I don't think a lot of the players have the right frame of mind, needless to say some of our coaches aren't exactly up to scratch ,the team hates playing in front of their own fans, which says ALOT etc.
The option I think we should take is to start from square one. Get some fresh faces, fresh attitude, a young team and keep playing it. Of course the results will be inconsistent with a young team, but i'd rather take win 5 lose 5 from 10 games, than win 1 or 2.
We have some very good youngsters at the club already e.g. Tim Payne in the reserves (New Zealand international), Nunes, Henley, Rochina, Rhodes, King (if signed permanently), Robbie Cotton, and yes, I think the time has come for the Portuguese boys to have a chance, absolutely nothing to lose.
Whether the Venky's will invest in january remains to be seen. The players are out there, if our scouts can't find them and I can, then we need some new scouts. The price of Italian/Spanish/Port
uguese players has crashed, if they know what they're doing, they'll look to those 3 countries + the premier league.
Our latest transfer target is David Worrall of Bury. We have an investment problem, just admit it.

IT`S CLEAR AS CRYSTAL to most of us that read these comments from RM7 that you have some sort of hidden agenda , myself and many others think you work for a football agent associated with the club , because all you do is keep screaming at the top of your head about " BRING IN,BRING IN, ALL YOU DO IS SCREAM BRING IN 5 PLAYERS /6 PLAYERS ,TRYING TO WIND EVERYONE UP THAT THE ANSWER IS SPENDING MORE MONEY TO BUY MORE PLAYERS ???? WHY ?? WHAT IS YOUR AGENDA ,IS THE ANSWER ALWAYS TO SPEND/ BUY BIG AND BRING IN MORE AND MORE PLAYERS .
WE POSSIBLY MIGHT NEED TO BRING /BUY MORE PLAYERS BUT THAT WILL BE DONE WHEN WE HAVE GOT A MANAGER THAT AT LEAST WE CAN TRUST AND HAS A MODICUM OF SUCCESS ON THE PARK.

Job done. The only reason I say five players is because we have yet to sign a right hand sided midfielder who is comfortable playing as a winger and then we need cover for the ones we brought in. All the other deadwood can then be sold on or let go. Dunn needs to either justify his paycheck or retire, Murphy and Etuhu have never justified there massive paychecks so thy can leave pronto. Along with Ribero who was third rate when kean signed him from the third tier of third rate football.
My your bullshete app is working well, where did you get it?

Suppose you lot look at the squalor of the Delhi and Mumbai slums and think, wow wish Burnley was as nice as this

Berg cannot be given funds until he proves he can do the job ,and he is failed so far ,even with our players we should have done better ,so give him a bit longer ,then if he is no good ,bring in an experienced manager and give him the funds.
RM7 comments about painting turds etc. all designed to make it appear bringing 5/6 players will turn Berg into a good manager ,THAT IS NOT THE CASE , A BAD MANAGER IS A BAD MANAGER WHOEVER THE PLAYERS YOU HAVE , JUST HAVE A LOOK AT SOME OF THE EXPERIENCED GUYS THAT TOOK OVER CLUBS AT THE SAME TIME WE APPOINTED BERG.

"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem - quit being part of the problem!"
We all know what Venky's have done but it can only be undone by them at this moment in time because realistically, even if they did decide to up sticks and leave, no-one has the financial appetite to get us out of this mess. So those calling for Venky's to leave - and I see the "trust" are gearing up for some kind of budget rescue idea - need to get a reality check.
We didn't ask for Venky's, we got them thanks to another "trust" we put our blind faith in. Just remember, Venky's may BE the worst thing to happen to Rovers, but there are far worse out there. I don't get these glass half empty fans who can only seemingly see the worst case scenario each time. A few short months ago it was "if Venky's dont sack Kean soon.. Yadda yadda.." and now its seems the same doom mongers at it again. Maybe "supporters" is the wrong word for you - "criticisers" may suit you better, and I'm not wearing any rose tinted spectacles on either. Im well aware of the precarious situation we are in now that promotion is looking as likely as relegation.
I just struggle with those who never seem to find anything good to say about Rovers - even when we win or draw! Makes you wonder what they want and I suspect most of it is la la land fantasies of ifs and buts.
Get behind the team, stop screaming OUT at every opportunity and acting like a god darn dingle.

The only team with so called fans whining and complaining at absolutely everything and think they have some divine right to play in the Premiership are Woevers.
Most of you only started to take any interest in them when Jack (More money than sense) Walker decided he wanted a toy to play with.
Now the money has gone it seems like the fan base has followed, only to return when the money comes back.....laughable or what.
Don't tar the clarets with your dirty worn out potless brush.
