Berg as to be given time in building a team in his own vision because this lot for all reasons outlined are simply not up to the task. The team for me is wholly fragmented and the cohesion is far from perfect.

Yesterday's game for me personally was a bit of a damp squid and I believe both sets of supporters on the whole were pretty subdued for that which I believe is the transition taking place at both clubs ? Neither side didn't want to lose that was plainly obvious, but how they went about it left much to be desired ?

Berg(with the help of Venky etc) needs to clear out the deadwood. Gaining promotion at this juncture would do nothing, in my opinion, only result in the possible relegation, as you point out.

This all sorry mess that as besieged BRFC these last 2 years or so is purely down to the big wigs which in turn leaves us, the supporter, shouldering the whole sorry mess attempting in putting gloss on what at times is, I'm sorry to say, like polishing a turd !

But I'm with you on building a strong club that survives than the one hit wonder you allude to.

Berg must be given time to build a solid platform and the likes of Josh King, and dare I say, CKR. Those two 2nd half along with Formica very nearly stole the show with the class, quality striker that goes by the names of Rhodes.

Still, we march on into the 34th year bragging rights firmly entrenched - just !! He He :)

Agreed RR sir....we need to remember that it is only six months since we got relegated from the prem and the reason we got relegated is that we were not good enough. The management, the team and the players were all not good enough.

We still have the majority of those players plus a couple of decent additions plus one class signing...plus a new manager.

It wont happen overnight, you don't go from very bad to very good - this season just to get to good would be an achievement. Right now I think we are somewhere between bad and average.

We have to keep perspective...the other two clubs that came down with us both beat us already this season - but both of them are still below us!

Some of the other teams above us in this league have good squads that they have put together over a couple of seasons like Cardiff, Boro, Brighton and Leicester but we (despite all our many failings) are already almost on a par or better than some of these teams. We already beat Leicester, Watford and Hull for instance - yet lost to Millwall, Palace and Boro.

These results show that the championship is a very open league and anyone putting a decent run together will be at or near to the top,

Yet even though promotion may be a step too far this season...if we can just keep in contention/touch and put a run together at the right time then who knows what is possible....the play-offs maybe?

I didn't particularly like him but I did enjoy being top of the Championship before his last game in charge. I have consistently said that we should have kept him in place until we had a suitable replacement lined up but a combination of Shebby The Snake's interference and the crowd's intolerence led us into more knee jerk reaction and a manager, who I believe, quite objectively and dispassionately, to be no more quailfied or eqipped than the last one.

a) read a book/go back to school - anything to improve your grasp of the English language
b) go and support Burnley - you obviously have no passion for this club and no real knowledge of football

Take a look at these squads and tell me who the great players are?
The difference is the management and cohesion. The discipline and the fitness. The ability to be effective as a team.
All the things we are lacking.
We have enough quality to get promotion but another couple of losses or home draws and its all over for this season.

But how many games do you give him to produce the goods? Venky's have gone on record with their 'minimum expectations' of promotion to the Premier League. Berg has been in charge for 7 games and won just one against effectively a league one side. What happens if you don't win at least one of the the next two? That would be one win in 9, is that long enough?

Steve Kean, muppet though he was, would have lead you to at least the play-offs. Unless Berg pulls his finger out you'll be struggling, and from what I've heard if you don't bounce straight back you'll be up sh*t creek financially.

Promotion with the current squad is a non starter, and without substantial investment from the owners (track record is not encouraging) i'm afraid it would be a nightmare for the fans to watch. Whenever I watch a premiership game, and not necessarily the top teams, I despair at just how far Rovers are now off that standard. A veritable mountain to climb!!

Didnt you enjoy more being 10th in the premier league before Kean took over? How can you give praise to a manager who after a few games and lucky results had us near the top of the championship when over two seasons previously he relegated us from the premier league. Its reverse logic and some fans are losing perspective. Kean was bad news, disillusionment at the current predicament is distorting fact and his ability. He was a despicable person.

But how many games do you give him to produce the goods? Venky's have gone on record with their 'minimum expectations' of promotion to the Premier League. Berg has been in charge for 7 games and won just one against effectively a league one side. What happens if you don't win at least one of the the next two? That would be one win in 9, is that long enough?

Steve Kean, muppet though he was, would have lead you to at least the play-offs. Unless Berg pulls his finger out you'll be struggling, and from what I've heard if you don't bounce straight back you'll be up sh*t creek financially.

I dont think you can say what Kean could achieve with any certainty other than to drag a team down. People are making a massive oversight when making judgements about Kean. Those outside of Ewood are judging his ability on a handfull of games at the beginning of a season in the league below where we started. We were lucky in most of those games and those watching could see where we were heading. Looking at the bigger picture, he dragged us down from 10th in the PL, fell out with important players, put them in detention, tactically useless and that is one reason why the team are now struggling. Dunn, Ollson, Murphy have all muted that the training wasnt up to scratch under Kean. Who can forget the non-show against Spurs and then Kean's deluded summary of the game after? This man that some are now suggesting we would be better off with, is a toad. His only achievement is to slither into a job he wasnt equipped to do, stay in it despite the damage he was causing, manipulate the national media, worm his way into the favour of the owner, slag his former boss off on youtube whilst on Rovers business, struggle to win more than a handful of games in the PL with inevitable relegation and you suggest he would have been our saviour? I didn't particularly like him but I did enjoy being top of the Championship before his last game in charge. I have consistently said that we should have kept him in place until we had a suitable replacement lined up but a combination of Shebby The Snake's interference and the crowd's intolerence led us into more knee jerk reaction and a manager, who I believe, quite objectively and dispassionately, to be no more quailfied or eqipped than the last one.

I agree Spurs match was a turning point where SK got F**up, no choice from bench to support weak players. then the wigen and chelsea.........all in a raw we lost. Think If we will those three, we will still in prem.

I love this game, Blackburn is so so close to my heart(Blue and White army). I started attach with this club from last prem season. So for me - S.Kean did good in ground. but he fail to keep the promise to stay in prem and with fans. Any way, I love to see our players fight back to getup on each match My english is not great - excuse me for that. I have no connection with this owners group of any associate.
