Two Millwall blockbusters saw Rovers slip to defeat as the Lions won 2-0 at Ewood Park.

Chris Wood lashed home a 20 yard right footed effort 19 minutes from time before James Henry scored a similar thunderbolt in the final minute to end Rovers' three game unbeaten run.

The result was harsh on Henning Berg's side who gave as good as they got in an even contest, particularly in a second half where they were the better team.

But the hosts created few clear cut chances with Martin Olsson and debutant Josh King having the best of them. Olsson's drive was palmed over by Millwall keeper David Forde, while King almost made an immediate impact after coming off the bench but Forde kept out his curling effort.

At the other end Andy Keogh and Wood were always a threat for Millwall - who saw three goals chalked off for offside.

And they displayed a clinical side that Rovers were lacking to seal the points.

The result saw Berg's men slip out of the Championship play-off places.
