GOAL hungry Colne travelled to bottom of the league Stone Dominoes hopeful of continuing their climb up the table being unbeaten in the league since the end of September.
But in the early stages Stone looked anything but a basement club as they pushed forward. However, the situation was soon about to change dramatically after Mark Coyne had a goal to be disallowed and ruled offside.
From this moment Colne began to get the ball down and play. And on 15 minutes the Reds opened the scoring when Jason Hart flighted the ball over the keeper into the top far corner.
Dominic Craig increased Colne’s lead and the Reds were now in control.
Ben Hoskin blasted home the third on 50 minutes and three minutes later it was four as Craig converted.
Three minutes later Craig made it four and with 15 minutes remaining he completed his hat-trick from the penalty spot.
Two minutes later James Crorken made it six before Craig crowned his man-of-the-match performance with his fourth goal and Colne’s seventh after another run through the Stone defence.
