Rovers reveal ticket offer
8:09am Thursday 15th November 2012 in Football
BLACKBURN Rovers fans can pick up an early Christmas present – with 2012-13 Half Season Tickets now on sale.
The 11-game package starts with the Nottingham Forest fixture on New Year’s Day and also includes the high-profile visits of Burnley, Blackpool and Leeds United to Ewood Park.
Adult tickets start from £149 in the Riverside, Ronnie Clayton Blackburn End and Bryan Douglas Darwen End stands – the equivalent of less than £14 per game.
Prices for Juniors (£49) and Young Adults (£89) have been frozen from last season, in keeping with the owners’ commitment of making football as affordable as possible for the club’s young fans.
The second half of the season will hopefully see Rovers pushing for the automatic promotion places in the Championship.
The season tickets are on sale now from the Roverstore (Ewood Park), Oneroverstore (Blackburn town centre), via the www.onerovers.co.uk website or by ringing 0871 2221444.
Adults can also spread the cost over three months with a direct debit scheme.

The January transfer window will give them ANOTHER chance (how many do they need ) to show they have the best interests of the club at heart.
Up to now they have failed miserably.

By the way, it was Venkeys who created all the negativity, not the fans. There was not much negativity about the club until they arrived.

To say we have 3 games coming up that would probably be at least £65 to watch you should then look at the other 8 games being more of an average of 10.50 a game.
149 - 65 = 84
84 / 8 = £10.50
Does that sound a better deal people?? Get down and support your team!! Or don't.... But don't come on here moaning about prices and putting off other potential customers wanting to return, or even start coming down as a new hobby!!

HOWEVER - the club have totally messed up with the pricing for JW centre - the price is nearly DOUBLE that of the cheaper stands BUT at the moment is is the JW stand that is nearly empty.
I am not going to renew my tickets in this area and will move to a different stand. I suspect many others will do the same.
Result - well occupied three quarters of the ground and JW with vast empty spaces.
One thought - is this a mistake by the club, or a clever ruse that will make Ewood look packed out to TV audiences?

As a season ticket holder for many years, I didn't get one this time due to Venkys and the club being turned up onto it's head since they arrived.
I boycotted the home games (but went to some away ) until Kean had gone, but returned as I said I would.
I have decided to pay match by match, at greater cost than season ticket prices and have attended all home games since Kean left.
I prefer to keep my options open, and that is my right, until I see Venkys start doing the decent thing and doing their best for this club.
I'm not complaining about what I pay and I am "supporting the club at the moment."

Central JW is £130 more for HALF a season than the riverside - equivalent to £260 pounds a season NOT £100.
