JAMES Beattie will watch Accrington Stanley’s League Two match at home to Northampton Town from the dugout after his clearance did not come through in time to make his debut.
Beattie was appointed as player-coach yesterday and is likely to make his first appearance against Edgar Davids’ Barnet at Underhill on Friday.
Stanley make one change to the side that drew 0-0 at Morecambe on Tuesday, with James Gray coming in for Michael Liddle. Lee Molyneux moves back into defence.
