It's clearly just a PR stunt by the consortium to get people to come to Ewood for Henning "2 points out of a possible 30) Berg's first game in charge. No doubt the consortium's numerous bogus accounts will be on here "thumbing down" my comment and "thumbing up" their own. It's well known that many Burnley fans live in the Brockhall area, I remember the statue at the entrance being painted claret and blue just before a Burnley - Blackburn game a few years ago. How this helps the opposition though I dont know, how do you know its genuine? I could make up the team now and post it on the internet - would you believe me?

Presumably this went on under Kean. So that explains why he lost most of his matches, the opposition knew his team beforehand. So we would obviously lose. Can't win a game when the oppsition know your team!

If the correct team sheet is appearing on the web week after week, it is ridiculous to assume that it is some local near the training ground watching the training scrimages through his binoculars, and deducing the team sheet from what he sees.
If the team sheet is always accurate on the web, then it must have originated from inside. The insider may not actually be doing the web posting, but he or she may be telling someone else and they are doing the posting.
Henning needs to start announcing his selection as late as possible if he thinks that it is helpful to the opposition. Or just put out a jumble of, say, 20 names that the team will be chosen from, leaving the actual selection announcement to Saturday noon.

It stands to reason that the actual team couldn’t possibly be leaked by someone watching the training sessions. He (or she) would need a great deal more than just extra sensory perception! No, the information is clearly coming from within.

The question is – why? Is there a sinister motive – i.e betting? Or is it simply someone trying to earn some brownie points? My instinct says it is the latter.

Also, if you read Glenn@BRFCS.COM above, it appears this has been going on for some time - and maybe he knows who it is with his reference to a ‘witch hunt’ for a genuine young fan.
