CHARLIE Austin has equalled the record of Burnley legend Ray Pointer and scored in eight successive games - but the Clarets have been pegged back in their Championship clash at Bristol City.
Austin netted his 17th of a stunning season after just nine minutes at Ashton Gate but the Robins hit back to level through Stephen Davies.
And while the Clarets held the upper hand, they couldn't force a second.
