THE chairman of the Blackburn and District Darts and Dominoes League has leant his support to a charity competition set to begin in the New Year.
Keith Murray has organised the competition in memory of his wife Sharon and to raise funds for the Macmillan Nurses Fund - and he has the full backing of Danny Burns.
Danny said: "I have known Keith and Sharon for well over 20 years and it was sad to hear of his lost.
"Keith has been doing charity darts competitions for years and when anyone ever asks him to help them raise money, he was there to help.
"So I would ask all darts players to help Keith and raise lots of money for Macmillan Nurses that helped his late wife.
"The Blackburn and District Darts League will be donating to the charity."
