Jason has Royal appointment

JASON Dewhurst from Clitheroe is the latest player to win through to the grand final of the Bull and Royal Darts Knockout.

Dewhurst qualified alongside Tony Stone from Garstang and both will now play in the final at the Longridge pub on August 22.

Last week, Graham Robinson and Taff Griffiths both booked their place in the final.

There are now just two more qualifiers to go.

Bull and Royal landlord, Andy Hunt, said: “Yet again we were witness to some very good darts.

“We have two more weeks to qualify but already it is making for a cracking night later in the month.”
