Beijing medalist Steven Burke of Colne will be one of 80 riders in the 43rd running of the popular Clayton Spring Classic Road Race tomorrow.
Burke is the big attraction at the race, which takes place over 14 laps of the testing four-mile circuit near Edisford Bridge, Clitheroe.
The event, which always attracts good numbers of spectators, sees the races wheel off at 10am.
The local cycle racing season kicks off today at Bolton-by-Bowland with the Rossendale Road Club 10-mile hilly time trial.
