Settle’s plans for the Ribblesdale League season have been rocked after their professional Brent Findlay was forced to cancel his contract after suffering a stress fracture in his back.
The Marshfield club have, however, moved quickly to replace the New Zealander and have snapped-up highly-rated batsman Harry Boam.
The English-born 20-year-old plays under former Kiwi skipper Stephen Fleming at Wellington.
