EAST Lancashire cricket star Alex Hartley is the one new face in the England Women's squad to face Pakistan in the first two Royal London ODIs.

Hartley, 22, who plays for Clitheroe CC has been rewarded after an excellent season with Middlesex in the Women's County Championship and for Surrey in the Super League.

The former Lancashire left-arm spinner, who comes from Read, also shone during the Academy tour in Sri Lanka at the start of the year.

Hartley has been part of the England Academy set-up based at Loughborough for four years.
