DARWEN'S Northern Premier League game with Carnforth has been called off.
The decision was taken to cancel the Birch Hall clash after heavy rain on Friday continued into Saturday with little prospect of the weather relenting.
The game between Morecambe and Blackpool is also off following an inspection with the Woodhill Lane pitch unfit having taken a weather battering.
But there is better news at Shap Road. Chorley's game at Kendal is set to start on time.
