Cricket Marathon: Double ton of fun for Mudasser

MARATHON cricketers Sankesh Waghray, Josh Stevenson, Mudasser Panchbhaya and Sabir Patel are approaching the halfway stage of their 150-hour match at Loughborough – but one of them managed to smile through the weariness.

Panchbhaya made his highest score after hitting 237 but admitted: “I struggled to keep 100 per cent concentration at times but got through it in the end. Time for some much needed rest.”

The quartet and staff from Loughborough University are aiming to raise £5,000 for the Harley Staples Cancer Trust.
