LANCASHIRE League side Colne will be without professional Yaseen Vallie for the rest of the season after the allrounder returned to South Africa this week.

Vallie has picked up a back injury and his absence means that the Horsfield outfit will be using sub professionals for the remainder of the campaign.

Middleton's Ernest Kemm stands in for the trip to Haslingden this weekend.

Vallie, 26, scored nearly 400 runs for Colne in his 15 matches for the club including two half centuries to help his side into the league's top five.

He picked up 29 wickets and also impressed in the T20 competition although Colne failed to get out of their group.
