The competition, which includes Lancashire League sides and Ribblesdale League outfits, resumes tomorrow with a place in the last 16 on offer to the winners.

Lancashire League leaders Burnley continue their attempts on a unprecedented quadruple when they host Thornton Cleveleys at Turf Moor.

Lowerhouse, another side for who four trophies is a possibility, are on the road at Northern League champions Blackpool in an eagerly anticipated match-up.

Ramsbottom are also on the road as they make the journey to Glossop.

Ribblesdale League champions Clitheroe make the trip down the M61 to Leigh while their divisional rivals Settle are on home turf against Lytham.

Northern League title-chasers Darwen make up the six and they have a home fixture with Denton West to look forward to.
