Lancashire relegated from County Championship Division One
LANCASHIRE have been relegated from the County Championship Division One after drawing their final game of the season with Middlesex.
The Red Rose needed to win to ensure their safety but a defiant 9th wicket stand between James Harris and Tim Murtagh denied Lancashire the chance to chase down a target.
The draw means Middlesex remain in Division One whilst Lancashire are relegated for the second time in three seasons.
