The Ashes Blog: Don't worry about Aussie moans

WE are on the march towards the Ashes - and the Aussies are losing it.

You must admit as Christmas presents go it's pretty decent.

The sight of Ricky Ponting berating the umpire and Kevin Pietersen in the early hours of Day Two of the fourth Test was most undignified - as was the booing of Pietersen when he reached his 50.

But some people are being a little too precious about this.

In a Sunday newspaper Andrew Flintoff groaned about how Australia were crossing the line with the sledging - but we seem to get a free pass when Matt Prior offers to take Peter Siddle around the back of a stand.

Yes, Ponting was out of order but don't get too carried away with that. That takes away from a fine England display.

We are on the verge of glory - let's not sour it by worrying about the Aussies.
