FORMER Ramsbottom professional Lou Vincent is having the time of his life after firing Lancashire into the Twenty20 Cup quarter-finals.
The Kiwi finished off Derbyshire Phantoms this week with a superb 102 from 63 balls, and followed that up with a half-century against Notts Outlaws on Wednesday.
Both performances earned him the man of the match award.
He said: “This whole experience at Lancashire was something that came out of the blue. I was just tucked away at Ramsbottom playing twice a week. When you look at Lancashire from the outside, it is a massive club.
“When you look at the names who have been here as an overseas player, to get the opportunity to come here was massive for me.
“We are a very powerful unit, and there is a lot of confidence within our team at the moment.
“We have been playing consistently all the way through.
"Even in the three games we lost, it was only because things didn’t go our way at the end.
"If we had played badly and still lost, then things would be different.”
l Lancashire get back to Twenty20 action tonight at Durham (5.30pm).
