ENFIELD have moved quickly to replace star professional Werner Coetsee – and have snapped up Dolphins, Easterns and KwaZulu-Natal Inland ace Brad Moses.
The Foster’s Lancashire League side had agreed terms with Coetsee for a third season but the all-rounder is now planning to stay in South Africa as his wife Natalie has just taken a new job.
That was a major blow to the Dill Hall Lane outfit – but they have sealed a deal with Moses, who turns 30 on the eve of the new season.
Moses has played for several club teams in England and the Netherlands.
The right-hand batsman and off-spinner was signed up by Bacup last year but could not take up his role at Lanehead due to visa issues, which have now been settled.
