Darwen’s Dezzi Higginson stopped Crawley’s ‘Rockin’ Robin Deakin in the third round of their lightweight contest in Bolton on Saturday.

Higginson dominated the fight, which was on the undercard of Stephen Foster’s defeat in his first defence of the European super-featherweight title.

Foster was beaten on points by Ermano Fegatilli.
