ACCRINGTON boxer Luke Blackledge tonight saw his unbeaten record come to an end as Erik Skoglund secured a narrow points victory in the Danish town of Frederikshavn.

Blackledge had moved up in weight to fight the Swede after previous opponent Rudy Markussen pulled out at short notice because of injury.

And the 22-year-old was beaten in the light heavyweight bout over 10 rounds, following a unanimous decision.

Skoglund won the fight 96-95, 97-93 and 96-94 on the scorecards.

Blackledge had won 13 and drawn one of his previous 14 fights.
