    Half-time: Liverpool 0 Blackburn Rovers 0

Blackburn comfortably frustrated Liverpool's attempts to win their seventh successive home league game at Anfield.

Fernando Torres and Dirk Kuyt both headed efforts wide but goalkeeper Brad Friedel was not unduly troubled.

Jose Reina, playing his 150th game for the hosts, was also only troubled by a Roque Santa Cruz angled drive.

Referee Wiley then ignored far more straightforward claims for a free-kick when Christopher Samba bundled Gerrard over on the edge of the box.

And when Torres and Dirk Kuyt combined to set-up Gerrard for a 20-yarder that looked to be deflected wide, the official gave a goal-kick much to the growing anger of the home crowd.

Jason Roberts and Roque Santa Cruz produced moments of strength and good movement to trouble Liverpool, and Santa Cruz tested Jose Reina with a fierce drive.

Kuyt then saw a 25-yard effort held by Friedel before the Dutch forward headed just wide from a Gerrard free-kick.

Never known a more one sided game.
Blackburn where light years behind Liverpool.
Worst attacking display ive seen this season.
And just to think we are stuck with McCarthy and Roberts for another few years!

    Dear Mr Wiley,
Thank you for not giveing that stone wall penalty and that free kick on the edge of the box. I must go now I've got to tell my bunch of no gooders to try and keep it down to about three.

Bluenwhite stop making a pr!ck of yourself.
We were awful today, Bentley lacked flare, forwards were awful, Samba laughable!
We need serious investment next season.
Liverpool played a massive game midweek and looked 100 times fresher than us.
We are miles away if we think were a top 8 club, miles.
Its time for us to stop being so easilly pleased!!

Dingles have to support other clubs to get some glory, its no wonder your support is dwindling even more.
