The event was originally scheduled for May 25, but had to be postponed due to an accident on Keighley Road.

It was rearranged with a slightly smaller field of 124 runners.

Organiser Frank Seed of Burnley Lions thanked everyone for taking part and thanked Inspire Health, Brook Farm children’s nursery and A White Room for their sponsorship.

The runners who did not run on Friday and who donated their entry fee from May were also thanked for their generosity.
