HOLLY Bleasdale’s selection for the European Indoor Championships has been confirmed as Team GB named a strong squad for the event in Gothenburg next month.
Blackburn Harrier Bleasdale, 21, is among the favourites for gold in the pole vault having enjoyed a strong start to the indoor season.
Bleasdale, sixth in the London Olympics last year, will be joined by the likes of Olympians Robbie Grabarz, Dwain Chambers and Christine Ohuruogu in the squad which is captained by 800m runner Jenny Meadows.
The championships run from March 1-3.
