ACCRINGTON Stanley boss John Coleman insists next season's squad will be about quality - not quantity.

Wholesale changes in player personnel are expected at the Fraser Eagle Stadium this summer after the Reds endured a rocky League Two campaign.

But Coleman admits he will be assembling a much smaller squad than usual.

"We are not going to carry as big a squad," said the Reds manager, ahead of tomorrow's trip to relegated Wrexham.

"We've signed five youngsters as first-year professionals, whose wages will be made up predominantly of appearance money.

"That frees it up to have perhaps a smaller squad, but a better squad with better paid players."

How is JC going to pay for better quality players with less fans. I cannot see too many coming back next season unless there is an immediate upturn in the playing staff that he already has.

Coleman Balls has more chance of keeping a clean sheet than getting a good signing i.e. never...so what about this season quantity and err no quality?
