LEE Darnbrough has left his role as head of analytics and talent identification at Burnley ahead of an expected move to Norwich City.
Darnborough’s future at the club had been cast into doubt with the Clarets set to appoint Frank McParland as director of football.
McParland is expected to start his new role during the close season.
A club statement said: "Burnley Football Club can confirm that Lee Darnbrough, head of analytics and talent identification, has left Turf Moor due to a restructure.
"Lee, who joined the club in December 2012, worked closely in tandem with former chief executive Lee Hoos and manager Sean Dyche in transfer business, contract negotiations and performance analysis.
"Burnley Football Club would like to place on record our thanks to Lee for his efforts and wish him well in his future career."
