Connor Mahoney earns England call

Young Blackburn Rovers winger Connor Mahoney has been called into the England under 17 squad for two friendlies against Belgium later this month.

The former Accrington Stanley starlet made his Rovers first-team debut last week when he came on as a sub for the final few minutes at Manchester City.

Yes, many times, if Connor also becomes an England captain, a first team regular and is still with Rovers when he is 22 we will all be very proud of him.
