ASHLEY Barnes is hoping to boost Burnley's Premier League push, after making his debut off the bench to help secure a 2-1 win at Yeovil Town - a result which keeps the Clarets second.
Danny Ings and Sam Vokes continued their prolific partnership with a goal in either half, taking their combined tally to 33 in all competitions this season.
And Barnes says he is willing to give them all the support they need.
"The team's been fantastic for the whole season, hopefully I can just come in and help them push for the last stride now to get over the line," said the striker, who completed his move from Brighton yesterday, signing a three-and-half year deal.
"I've always been aware of their interest, it was just a matter of when and what time in this window.
"I got here about 2am on Thursday and then it was just a whirlwind from there.
"It's a massive club. Look where they are in the league, they've been in the Premier League before so they know what it's all about, and I just want to help them get back there.
"That's the aim, I'm here to help."
