EVEN though Burnley are top of the table, all the pressure is on QPR and Leicester to get promoted this season. It’s not on us.

It was great to go back to top spot after beating Barnsley, and we’re in a fantastic position that really we’ve got no right to be in.

It looks like we’re going to be in the top six at the turn of the year, which you would have snapped someone’s hand off for at the start of the season.

It’s full credit to the players and the staff that we’re in this position.

It will be a tough game at Leicester today, probably our toughest game of the season.

But all the pressure is on them.

Nigel Pearson will know for his own personal situation as manager that Leicester probably need to go up this season.

For us I think a point would be a great result from this game.

If we can emerge unscathed today, it would keep us in the top two going towards the Christmas period.

QPR and Leicester should be able to deal with the pressure that’s on them purely because of the players they have.

Clubs shouldn’t be getting anywhere near QPR this season when you look at their squad, but they came to Turf Moor and we beat them quite comfortably.

Leicester are the next biggest favourites this season but there’s no reason why we should fear them.

Okay, you’d feel more confident if the game was at Turf Moor, but we’ve gone away from home and got results this season.

Leicester will respect Burnley as a well organised, hard working team and they will know they are in for a very tough game.

Hopefully we can carry on surprising people.
