BAXENDEN’S Club Fourball Turkey Shoot turned into a battle of the captains.
Centenary captain in waiting, Billy O’Neill ably partnered by last year’s skipper Garry Aspinall, edged present incumbent Tony Walsh and past captain Paul Mabbutt on a card play-off. Both pairs had finished on 42pts.
