FULL TIME: Accrington Stanley 1 Aldershot Town 0

PADRAIG Amond came off the bench to net a late winner for Accrington Stanley against Aldershot this afternoon.

The Irish striker netted in the 89th minute to break the deadlock at the Crown Ground.

Peter Vincenti was then sent off for the visitors in injury time for an off-the-ball incident.

The victory moved Stanley back up to sixth in the League Two table.

Stanley: Ian Dunbavin, Craig Lindfield, Peter Murphy, Rob Atkinson, Lee Molyneux, Luke Joyce, Danny Schofield, Will Hatfield (Piero Mingoia 60), Rommy Boco, Matty Whichelow (Aidan Chippendale 60), Karl Sheppard (Padraig Amond 70). Subs not used: Andrew Dawber, Tom Eckersley, Bohan Dixon, Charlie Barnett.

I feel sorry for poor old Stanley, nobody ever comments on their site, the largest volume of posters are over on the Trampwood site where they constantly moan and whinge even though they are doing quite well.

Well there are a couple of us who comment now and again, I think a lot of people think that you are only allowed to post if you moan and whinge or insult your neighbours. Anyway well done Stanley, it should have been over well before injury time yesterday, total domination by a squad who as a unit will earn less in a week than most of the muppets in the Championship pick up individually in a week.
