Before I comment I would like to offer a huge apology to lancs pensioner and darener, boycots maybe the only way to go unless venky's have an advisor sat watching that game and saying thats not even sunday league standard.

As for a one game boycot I wont go back until the standard of football improves, id prefer going down pleasington and giving my cash to the man of the match on pitch 3 before giving it to ewood.

Yes it is all the fault of the Venky crew and especially Kean and not the fans. The owners created the horrible fans v club situation with keeping Kean in a job and they can end this situation (mostly) by sacking him.

But the fans (both the go's and the no-shows) need to get a grip, nothing is working regards the fans actions, the Kean Out shouts, the pre-match protests, the not going, it is so plain to see that none of it is working towards achieving the objective of getting Kean out.

Not sure what will work....there are no obvious solutions but what is happening now must stop. Maybe we do a full 180 degree turn and start packing the ground and backing the team. Make Ewood a hostile place to come to again for visiting teams, give the players encouragement instead of boos, and yes get 30,000 Rovers fans singing one song together - Kean Ou!t Then perhaps even the seemingly deaf Venkys may hear the message at last.

Venkys may have been inexperienced owners who appointed an inexperienced manager into a job that was too difficult for him, but as yet there is still no evidence of financial wrong doing. You people from Brag carried on with your demonstrations even though you knew the majority of fans were against them . David Moyes said you were vile and disgusting, Alex Ferguson said you were a symptom of modern society, for once I agree with him.

The in-fighting that occurs inside the stadium is down to the fact that some fans are chanting and others around them are telling them to shut up. It's a strange theory - sorry, opinion - regarding the cause of the shambolic mess currently called Blackburn Rovers Football Club.

Quite how the supporters' concern for the way the club has been run or a proposed investigation into it can actually be considered to be the reasons for the "wreckage of a football club" is a little odd.

These are reactions to what has happened, not the cause of it.

There may not be any evidence of financial wrong doing (yet), but that is not necessarily the issue. But we wont know until it has been fully investigated, if there is sufficient evidence to suggest one is warranted in the first place.

There probably won't be; as Peter Scudamore said, whatever the shortcomings of the fit and proper test, the FAPL can't be held responsible for the owners turning out to be f@cking useless or for the bizarre decisions they make when running the club.

I don't think there will be any blatant financial impropriety, just naive irresponsible and inept management bordering on the negligent. There have however undoubtedly been some dubious appointments - one in particular - which would not require too much investigation. I kind of hope there have been accountable wrongdoings, if only for the satisfaction of being able to say "see we told you so". It would bring some kind of closure to the whole mess, although where it would leave us would be a worry. Such is the dilemma we face.

So, what can be done? Probably nothing which makes it all the more frustrating.

It is a touch presumptuous to say "many thousand" fans share your view ; unless there is a larger Swiss branch of the Rovers supporters club than I was aware of.

And the majority of the fans being against the protests? The majority may not have actively joined in the protests but that does not automatically mean they did not support them in principle.

Based on the reduced numbers attending games and the reaction of many that do, I would question the accuracy of Swiss Rover's figures whilst his assumptions are just plainly wrong.

A $hite atmosphere and disagreement between fans are the results of two years total mismanagement by the current owners of just about everything related to the club and its supporters, nothing else.

I know what you are saying and how it may look from afar, but this is not all about one game.

It has been a good start on paper but the scorelines alone suggest nothing has changed apart from the quality of opposition. Match reports and comments on here suggest the same. We continue to concede plenty whilst relying on one or two decent players to pull us out of the proverbial; for Rhodes and Nuno Gomes read Hoilett and the Yak.

That cannot last and is not a realistic way to achieve what the owners claim to be their prime objective.

It is a long old season in the Championship and ending the first six games with a one or two point advantage means squat at this early stage.

The fact the owners have (albeit belatedly) thrown some cash around makes it all the more worrying.

There are plenty of teams already more than capable of taking advantage of the slow, disorganised and defensively fragile team we have put out this season and every week for the last eighteen months. This will become more apparent when they look past the supposed big names and the amount of money spent and realise Rovers are actually a bit of a soft touch.

It is a trend which if allowed to continue will result in a very expensive failure. The fate of the club will then be in the hands of our incompetent owners, which, given their efforts to date is very worrying.

Cheers, at least I know there are more of us with the same opimion. Our protest will continue. The stay aways are hidden behind keans excuse. He says they will come back if we keep playing enjoyable football and winning. Well, I go to the ground to tell him, I don't want him no matter what position or what kind of performance we put in. I go to support the team and to tell kean I want him out. Last night proved I'm not on my own either. More of us will continue until this chancer has been potted.

Young Matthew, i can only assume that you are young by judging your very immature response. I am fully aware of the magnitude of what has happened to my beloved club. I have been following the Rovers since 1979 and have witnessed all he ups and downs that we have been through since then. If you truly believe that SK would have been gone by now had everyone stayed away for the first few games then you are very much deluded.... but that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. Do not come on here giving it the big 'I AM' accusing me of not caring and 'keeping that knob-jockey in place!' The way I see it is if we have a stable 12000 in the ground every game Venkys will work with that. Pick up young players, sell them on for a profit and keep making a few quid. This model doesn't work as well with a 2000 crowd. It would be difficult to attract any players with this backing and the media would crucify the club. By continuing to attend you are helping to shape Venkys vision of Rover's future, a low end Championship club who sells players to clubs we should be competing with. I believe there is still just enough talent within this club to get promoted this season but only if we rid our club of the awful management team. Surely we all can see Kean will not be taking us up and this season is probably our only chance of returning. Let's be realistic if we don't go up Rhodes, Olsson, Rochina, Robinson, Givet and even Danny won't be there next year.

I have been following the Rovers since 1979 and have witnessed all he ups and downs that we have been through since then. If you truly believe that SK would have been gone by now had everyone stayed away for the first few games then you are very much deluded.... but that is your opinion and you are entitled to it. The action is designed to threaten damage to the club IF Venkys do not remove the greater damage Steve Kean. You are right to that extent. However, the Spartans are also damaging the club by supporting the corrupt, incompetent regime. The difference is that the Boycotters are aiming to inflict maximum damage over a short period in order to get rid of Kean (and the Venkys) and avoiding having the damage go on for a much more extended period and thereby probably amount to a greater wreckage. I think there is another difference that the two camps need to consider. I sense that the Boycotters would prefer to play in a lower league without Kean ( and the Venkys) than play in the Premiership with all that nonsense that surrounds the Venkys such as Kean, the Global Adviser, the contemptable Agnew and the thug Hendry, the constant slights to the paying customers.
Blackburn Rovers is not a club for Venkys to buy or sell. It is a club for the supporters to permit an owner to buy it or to compel to sell it.

Its funny last year the protesters said that kean out chants did nothing of the sort, now the said same people have opted for a boycott and now the kean out chant is upsetting the team because they are not doing it.

The action is designed to threaten damage to the club IF Venkys do not remove the greater damage Steve Kean. You are right to that extent. However, the Spartans are also damaging the club by supporting the corrupt, incompetent regime. The difference is that the Boycotters are aiming to inflict maximum damage over a short period in order to get rid of Kean (and the Venkys) and avoiding having the damage go on for a much more extended period and thereby probably amount to a greater wreckage. I think there is another difference that the two camps need to consider. I sense that the Boycotters would prefer to play in a lower league without Kean ( and the Venkys) than play in the Premiership with all that nonsense that surrounds the Venkys such as Kean, the Global Adviser, the contemptable Agnew and the thug Hendry, the constant slights to the paying customers.
Blackburn Rovers is not a club for Venkys to buy or sell. It is a club for the supporters to permit an owner to buy it or to compel to sell it.

Hi blueblooded. I agree with most of what you say, but if he was sacked because of results alone, shouldn't he have gone by now? I don't think the Kean out chants are making any difference though. We've been doing that for two years and he's still here.

Do you think the introduction of odd/even harmonics by thermionic would have a better overall result or the clean non harmonic introduction of gremanium. Would the introduction of odd harmonics be better than even. which would be more pleasing What do you think?

From every quarter Venky know of the unrest aimed at Kean. It is obvious they are sticking with their man until, well, who knows thus the continued booing etc is now like slashing in the wind !

Surely a different tactic as to be introduced in that the team is not affected regardless of what is happening through the match ? The end of the game is when to vent your spleen.

The whole world and it's dog know of the stand off between supporters and the Odious one and is highly unlikely to change any time soon thus a different tactic as to materilize, and we as supporters attending or not attending have to support the B&W shirt, the badge, and rid the 'booing' because in my opinion, the 'booing' is now seeping into the B&W shirt/badge with quite possibly catastrophic consequence's ?

Our club at this time deserves better from all quarters.

We know that the booing is having no affect as it has for nearly two years. That is why we have resorted to boycotting. Please everybody join us and stop the booing!
