DEAN Marney's 10th minute drive has given Burnley the lead at the break of their Championship game at Leicester City.

The midfielder powered his drive home after being set up by Kieran Tripper as the Clarets made light of missing top scorer Charlie Austin to a knock picked up in training.

Former Burnley loan man Dave Nugent did go close for the Foxes as the half drew to a close but the Clarets were full value for their lead.

Totaly agree, as a boycotter I am guided by friends on matches at Ewood, but even they say we have been lucky in every match so far.

Burnley meanwhile are where they belong - fighting relegation with the other minnows. It must hurt that even with Venky's and Kean Rovers are still miles ahead on and off the pitch.
