Accrington Stanley make loan swoop for Watford duo

ACCRINGTON Stanley are expected to hand debuts to Matty Whichelow and Piero Mingoia tonight after the duo joined on loan from Watford yesterday.
Stanley make the trip to Chesterfield in League Two and the 20-year-old duo will both be available for the match.
Winger Whichelow already has first-team experience with Championship side Watford, scoring three goals in 24 appearances, but has fallen down the pecking order following a host of signings under new boss Gianfranco Zola. He will stay on loan until December 18.
Midfielder Mingoia, from London but of Italian descent, has played five first-team games for the Hornets and joins for a month.
Stanley chairman Peter Marsden, who is based near Watford, helped to facilitate the double deal.
