YOUNG kart star Noah Chamberlain has again shown his potential as a real star of the future after wowing race bosses at Silverstone.

The six-year-old from Oswaldtwistle attended another exclusive ‘invitation only’ event – this time to the prestigious iZone driver development centre at the iconic venue.

This follows hot on the heels of his trip to work with the Zip Kart All Stars where Lewis Hamilton first made his name.

Noah got to try out iZone race simulator and he proved to be such a success that he has been asked to help pioneer a tailor-made program for young drivers.

The iZone centre is normally associated with established racing drivers and is also home to TV’s Louise Goodman who spent 12 years as a Formula One pit lane reporter and currently reports on the British Touring Car Championship. The iZone coaching team have worked with some of the best drivers in the business including current Formula One Driver Mark Webber.

Despite him only being six-years-old Noah’s assessment programme replicated that of a professional racing driver – including a fitness assessment, concentration assessment and simulator work including eye line tracing whilst in the simulator. Because of this his, some unorthodox adjustments were required to the adult simulator to accommodate the youngster – but Noah immediately showed just what a true talent he is by adapting perfectly and recording speeds of over 95mph.

He continued to wow the coach with his silky smooth style, precision lines and impressive lap times. With no equivalent basis for comparison, Noah had to be assessed against a top driver from the class above and recorded a truly impressive score of 95 per cent Now he has been invited back to Silverstone outfit to help pioneer a program for younger drivers!

The iZone coach Terrence Dove couldn’t help to be impressed by young Noah.

He said: “I learnt a lot about how well such young lads can drive, and I was encouraged to see so much determination and focus on display.”

Noah is currently taking part in the Hooton Park Indi Kart Championships where he currently leads the standings after a series of storming wins.

His dad Glen said: “Noah’s talent and ability are fast becoming matter of fact and not just opinion, this glowing report from a top driver coach just reinforces his raw talent.”

Noah made the most of his trip to Silverstone by taking up the invite to again visit Lewis Hamilton’s former team Zip Kart All Stars whom he had previously impressed at Whilton Mill circuit just a few weeks earlier. He got the chance to meet current European KF2 Champion, Ben Barnicoat – a driver he will no doubt be looking to emulate in the near future.

n Noah’s success to date has secured him sponsor partners but he still needs more to help him realise his potential, to get involved or for more information please visit www.noahchamberlain.com
