CLITHEROE suffered a last-gasp home defeat as a late penalty saw Crosby nick the victory.
The Maroon and Golds had started brightly and finished strongly but back chat and ill-discipline cost them in the end.
A Rick Slinger try and Martin Lafranceschina kick put the ahead. After Crosby took control, tries by Greg Birch and Slinger again saw Clitheroe draw level – only for the visitors to ping over a late penalty.
