FULL-TIME: Accrington Stanley 1, Bradford City 1

ACCRINGTON Stanley were held to a draw in an exciting game at the Crown Ground.

Bradford dominated for long periods but were unable to turn their chances into goals before the break and the Reds capitalised in an improved second half.

Padraig Amond scored his third goal in four games to give Paul Cook's side the lead in the 72nd minute.

Although Stanley had created more chances in the second half the goal still came against the run of threat, with Bradford remaining a threat.

The Bantams had been denied by the post and Luke Joyce's goalline clearance in the first half.

And they looked as though they would rue their missed chances when Amond put the Reds in front, converting Will Hatfield's cross from close range.

But six minutes after coming off the bench Alan Connell lobbed Ian Dunbavin to equalise in the 83rd minute.
