Non-league preview: Smith urges speedy recovery for Storks

PADIHAM secretary Alan Smith is looking for the club to bounce back from their FA Cup heartache by preserving their unbeaten start to the league campaign.
The Storks entertain St Helens Town in the North West Counties Football League Premier Division tomorrow, after their extra-time agony in midweek.
Ten-man Padiham looked to have taken Evo-Stik outfit Burscough to penalties in the FA Cup preliminary round replay, before slipping to a 2-1 defeat in the 119th minute.
Smith said: “What a horrible way it was to lose the game after such a brave effort from the lads.
“We took them all the way over the two games and showed a lot of character having been harshly reduced to 10 men.
“Hopefully we can get over that disappointment as we get back to league matters.”
Padiham are without the suspended Ben Allen this weekend following his red card.
Elsewhere in the division, Barnoldswick travel to Winsford Town, Colne entertain Glossop North End and Bacup Borough play host to Stone Dominoes.
In Division One, league leaders AFC Darwen look to maintain their impressive start to the season with a trip to fellow high flyers Rochdale Town.
Chorley Town entertain Nantwich Town in the FA Cup first qualifying round, with Ramsbottom travelling to Fylde in the same stage of the competition.
