One Stewart in, one Stewart out for Clarets

VERSATILE winger Cameron Stewart has joined Burnley on loan from Hull City until January.

Clarets manager Eddie Howe swooped before tonight's 11pm transfer deadline, meaning the 21-year-old is available for selection for the visit of Brighton tomorrow (Saturday).

The 21-year-old, who can play on either wing or as a central striker, has been brought in to fill the void left by injury to Danny Ings.

Stewart, who has made 50 appearances for Hull - including three this season, is a product of the Manchester United Academy. He earned his first professional deal at Old Trafford, before signing for the Tigers in January 2011.

Meanwhile, Burnley goalkeeper Jon Stewart has re-joined Alfreton Town on loan until January.

Stewart enjoyed a successful spell with the Blue Square Premier side last season, helping them to move away from the relegation zone to secure a 15th-placed finish.

The 23-year-old signed a new deal at Turf Moor during the summer but has returned to the Impact Arena Stadium for the chance of further first-team football.
