The supporters who have been turning up for games so far this season have been playing into their hands. Bums on seats equals encouragement for Kean and his backers.

I loyally supported the Rovers through their third and second division days as did many others. This time it is very different. The arrogance and ineptitude and totally disregard for loyal supporters has alienated too many of us. Our only recourse has been to withdraw our support until they take notice, as they finally appear to be doing. What do you suppose they would have done if 26000 of us had continued to pay at the gate? Very little I suspect. Why would they bother? It's all about money for them.

Correct!!!! Those criticising us 'stayaways' seem to have goldfish memories. I have no faith in Kean getting us promoted. Sorry to be so blunt but, sick of the same people whining and moaning on here, and it is literally every time i read this comments page on each rovers story the same sad, miserable people. If you dont like it that much stay at home with all the so called 'fans', I dont care how long you were a rovers fan or if your grandad wiped ronnie claytons arse when he was a boy, if your not gonna get behind us then your not a true SUPPORTER, maybe some people need to be reminded of the definition of the word.

Instead of reminding us all that your not coming why dont you just keep it to yourselves because its getting rather boring, ill be there at leeds on saturday cheering on my team, end of, i hope you can all join me and help us win, which is what we will be doing, the stigma attached to having a 12th man at home and away is true in any sport with the fans getting behind their team and if we do im pretty sure we'll be well near the top of the league come the end of the season. Forget about kean and venkys, they are clueless, but we have a good team and if we get behind them we can win games and achieve promotion and end up back where we belong.

It is only the pressure applied by those of us who have supported the Rovers for years and years and who have stayed away so far this season that has forced the Venkys to finally spend some decent money on a good prospect. The supporters who have been turning up for games so far this season have been playing into their hands. Bums on seats equals encouragement for Kean and his backers.
