IN THE NO Karter Noah Chamberlain won again
Oswaldtwistle karting star Noah Chamberlain has made it three in a row after again securing the top spot in the Hooton Park Indi-Kart Championship.
A bright and sunny day at the Elsmere Port circuit brought with it a strong grid of competitors – however unexpected rain caused problems in practice but Noah adapted well to secure pole position for the first of three heats.
However, it did not go Noah’s way as the St Andrew’s Primary School pupil was plagued by transmission issues resulting in him finishing a lowly ninth place.
It meant that in heat two Noah started well down the order and with his team unable to successfully address the under steer his chances of a strong finish looked slim.
But Noah – who recently enjoyed an ‘invitation only’ test day with Lewis Hamilton’s former kart team – made a great start and immediately started to make places up on the first lap, then went in search of grip that only he was able to find. A truly amazing drive saw Noah show his unrivalled ability to tip toe his way in and around his competitors to bring his kart home ahead of the chasing pack.
After some more set-up changes Noah again made a great start to heat three and was first into turn one, where he coolly controlled the race from pole to flag for his third consecutive top spot.
He has now further increased his lead in the Hooton Park Indi-Kart Championship standings and is currently seeking more sponsor partners to help him realise his undeniable talent.
